Taco Casserole

Taco Casserole

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of McCormick & Company. All opinions are 100% mine. This Taco Casserole is the delicious taco in casserole form which makes it a one dish meal that the whole family will love. My kids love helping me in the kitchen. Well, not the cleaning part. They love cooking and baking with me. Hannah is to the point where she can cook all by herself. She made dinner the other night and it was delicious. Emma love dumping ingredients in and stirring. … [Read more...]

Cinnamon Oatmeal Bars

Cinnamon Oatmeal Bars

Have you ever used Apple Butter? I have to confess that I never have. I never thought of it. Do you really even know what it is? It's a concentrated form of applesauce made by slowly cooking apples with water or cider to the point that it caramelizes, turning it a deep brown color. There really isn't any butter in it, but it has a thick, soft consistency. You can spread it on breads to eat or you can bake and cook with it like I did. Be sure to check out these other delicious recipes from … [Read more...]

Lazy Day Cobbler

Lazy Day Cobbler

Lazy Day Cobbler is so easy to make that it's perfect for those... lazy days. No need to be fancy all the time. I don't know about you but I love Peach Cobbler. And I love pie filling. And I love that this recipe uses both. I made a Blueberry Cobbler-Cake that was amazing. This is more on the cobbler side than cake side hence the cobbler in the name. I made it in a square Chinet Bakeware pan. You could double this and make it in a 9x13 pan. Lazy Day Cobbler   Print Cook … [Read more...]

To the Bacon Lovers…

To the Bacon Lovers…

This is a featured post. All thoughts are my own.Bacon is delicious. That's a know fact. You can Google recipes using bacon and find tons of them. It's just so good. I love saving my bacon grease in a mug and storing it in the fridge until I make Biscuits and Gravy. Then I add a tablespoon or so to the gravy to give it that bacon flavor. Or you can put some in a skillet and fry your eggs in it. Not the healthiest way to cook eggs, but I love it on occasion. Check out this awesome graphic from … [Read more...]

White Chicken Chili {in broth}

White Chicken Chili {in broth}

I have seen recipes for White Chicken Chili floating around and I have a confession. I have never eaten White Chicken Chili. I have wanted to, but just never got around to making it. I told myself this year I would do it. And I did. Only it's not the regular creamy version. It's a broth version and I loved it. It reminded me of Taco Soup. I loved it topped with plain greek yogurt and shredded cheddar cheese. Then I crunched up some tortilla chips and stuck those in. I love that my family loved … [Read more...]
