Cheesy Baked Penne with Ham

I was going through Recipe Girl's site and came across this incredible dish. Cheesy Baked Penne. Cheesy is the word that caught my eye. That's all I needed to know. I make this dish when I have ham to use up. I also buy ham just to make this. It is so creamy and gooey. It is a must make in my kitchen. If you try it, it will be on your "make again" list. I tweaked it a little to suit our taste. Printable VersionIngredientsSauce:4 cups 2% milk4 Tbsp. (1/2 stick) unsalted butter¼ cup all-purpose … [Read more...]

Ravioli and Spinach Alfredo

I had some ravioli in my refridgerator that needed to be used as well as some spinach in my garden. This recipe is the result. It comes together quickly so that's a plus in my book.Ravioli and Spinach Alfredo (with chicken)1 (18 oz.) package of refrigerated ravioli (I used four cheese)2 packets of Alfredo mixture Spinach1 (14 oz) can of chicken or 2 cups cooked and … [Read more...]

Chicken Noodle Soup

Alright, fine. I will post a "healthy" recipe today. And Oh.My.Goodness. That's all I can say about this soup. I got it from the Pioneer Woman and she knows her stuff. It is so comforting and soul warming. I could eat this at least once a week. It's that good wonderful. I tweaked it a tad to suit my tastes. I must say I absolutely recommend using a whole fryer chicken (you can buy them already cut up) because it makes it taste so much better than just using boneless, skinless chicken breasts. … [Read more...]

Beefy Ravioli

Beefy Ravioli

Beefy Ravioli is way too easy. It is basically just like making spaghetti. It's a nice change from an old classic. We love spaghetti around here. I love it on busy nights. I love pasta period. Beefy Ravioli takes no time at all to make and tastes soooo good. I decided to switch it up by using refrigerated cheese ravioli in place of spaghetti noodles. The result was delish! It didn't even take any more time than making spaghetti. You could throw in some sliced olives for a great … [Read more...]
