Vanilla Pudding Cinnamon Rolls
Cinnamon Rolls are just such a luscious treat. They are so versatile, too. Eat them for a dessert, an afternoon snack, or breakfast. There are many recipes for cinnamon rolls. I found this recipe from Mel's Kitchen Cafe. She also has a recipe for Cream Cheese Frosting, but I don't like cream cheese frosting. At. All. Not on any cake or any other dessert. Never have. So I used the tub of Betty Crocker Vanilla frosting. Perfect for me. Rolls:½ cup warm water2 tablespoons active dry yeast2 … [Read more...]

Favorite Chocolate Chip Cookies
These are my Favorite Chocolate Chip Cookies. I have searched high and low for the perfect recipe and found it at a friend's house. Lightly crisp on the outside and chewy in the center. I love chocolate chip cookies. They are the original cookie. They are the original after-school snack. They are also kinda hard to accomplish in the perfect way. What is up with that? It isn't like it is a complicated recipe. They just are tricky to get to turn out just right. I've been trying for over 11 … [Read more...]

Oreo Cheesecake Ice Cream
Ice cream. The perfect summer treat. I bought an ice cream maker last year and made vanilla and chocolate. This flavor is by far my favorite. Oh it is so good. I made it and froze it a few hours to harden up. You can certainly eat it right out of the ice cream maker for a soft version. This makes 2 quarts so you may want to double it if your ice cream maker allows the room. The recipe says to let the mixture chill overnight before mixing in the ice cream maker. I let mine chill 4 hours. I … [Read more...]

Creamy Lemon Crumb Bars
I love the Pioneer Woman. I just do. I have her cookbook and I cannot wait until her cooking show debuts on Food Network in August. She can't share a bad recipe. Like these Lemon Bars. Oh they are the best. I love them so much better this way (creamy) rather than the usual way you see them, with a jelled filling. These are best served cold. They are so refreshing and need to be made on a weekly basis, in my opinion. Printable Version Ingredients1 ⅓ cup all-purpose flour½ teaspoons … [Read more...]
Cinnamon Sugar Pull-Apart Bread
Cinnamon Sugar Pull-Apart Bread is so easy to make and so worth the carbs! Serve it for breakfast, dessert or a pre-dinner snack. You'll see... I did it. I finally made this infamous bread. I saw it on Joy the Baker and I couldn't get it out of my head. I had to do it. Oh.my.word. It looks complicated, but it's not. Even if it were, it doesn't even matter. It would be worth it. My son and I ate most of it before dinner (like right before dinner). We couldn't help ourselves. Fresh out of the … [Read more...]
