Nothing says summertime like S'mores. When I saw these S'mores Bars from Cooking With My Kid, I knew they'd be gracing my kitchen often. They are amazing. Old Fashioned Donuts
I have never made homemade donuts. I needed a treat to bring to my book club and was flipping through some Taste of Home magazines. Then I found one I had marked and it was for these donuts (or doughnuts if that's how you spell it). I thought, "why not?" and they were so good! They are a cake donut, so if you can make cut-out cookies and you can fry food, you can make these. I got about 18 out of my batch. I didn't use the donut holes, though. Empty Tombs are a delicious treat for Easter morning. They are also known as Marshmallow Delights. It's the perfect idea for teaching kids about Christ's Resurrection. I discovered these little treats last year after Easter and knew I would make them this year. They are perfect for an object lesson on Jesus Christ's death and Resurrection. Cookies 'N Cream Brownies is such an easy recipe. Why did I never think of it before? Oreos in brownies can only be good. You could also substitute any other cookie you want. Nutter Butters, Mint Oreos, whatever you like. Completely delicious. Putting Oreo cookies into anything basically makes it better. Like cookies, with pudding, or cake.
