My friends, let me tell you something: I love Chinese food. It's my favorite food. Ever. So with that said, I can now live in the middle of nowhere absolutely comfortably. Because I can make Sweet and Sour Chicken in my own kitchen. Anytime I want. And this version tastes just like it was made in a Chinese restaurant. Also, I love a girl named Holly for putting this recipe on her blog for me. I know it was just for me. Sweet and Sour Chicken Print Author: … [Read more...]
Orange Chicken For Dummies
This Orange Chicken is one of the most popular recipes on my blog, and for good reason! A slow cooker meal that is completely delicious is bound to be awesome. Lance works in Wyoming during the cold season. He's home maybe 2 or 3 days and then he's gone about 2 weeks. Or longer. Which stinks. His family is nearby, which helps. Lance's brother and his wife live right behind us and always help out when needed. Like when my bath tub drain lever breaks off. Or my … [Read more...]

Tex-Mex Bake
I was going through my Gooseberry Patch Homestyle Favorites cookbook when I came across this recipe. As I looked to see whose recipe it was, I was surprised to see the name Jenny Flake! Not really surprised, because she's that awesome, but you know what I mean. Jenny is the Jenny from Picky Palate. I adore that girl and her site. This recipe is one of her family's favorites, and I can see why. So delicious. It reminds me of chicken enchiladas, only not rolled up. My picky eaters even liked it. … [Read more...]

Hello there, friends. I have another guest here today. She's such a cute gal with great recipes, that I couldn't resist asking her to guest blog for me. So here she is...Hi, I'm Lesa, author of Edesia's Notebook. I am a SAHM to two little girls (ages 1 and 3) and the wife of an awesome guy. Chicken Spaghetti
I have always heard of but never made Chicken Spaghetti or Chickenetti, if you smoosh the words together. It's funner to say. Plus that's what Anna Duggar calls it. I also love the Pioneer Woman (who doesn't? I dare you to say out loud that you don't) who has a recipe for it. I took into account my family's tastes and adapted the two recipes into one and this is what I ended up with. My kids gave it a thumbs up so that's that. Easy Cheesy Chicken Casserole
I made this Easy Cheesey Chicken Casserole and my children really liked it. My daughter said it tasted like these Chicken Rolls except with noodles instead of crescent rolls. Can't really go wrong there. 5.0 from 1 reviews Easy Cheesy Chicken Casserole Print Prep time 15 mins Cook time 25 mins Total time 40 mins Author: Mandy Bird Serves: … [Read more...]
