Applebee’s Oriental Chicken Salad

This copycat Applebee's Oriental Chicken Salad tastes EXACTLY like the real thing. Make it at home any time you want, it's so easy! I crave this salad. All the time. I decided to find a recipe to it so I could have it whenever I wanted and also save money. I did it and it tastes exactly like the real thing. Trust me. I am a bit of a food snob so I know my stuff. I hope I've made one of you just as ecstatic as I now am. This makes enough dressing for 2 people.  I like to make the dressing … [Read more...]

Cafe Rio Chicken

Cafe Rio Chicken

I recently ate at Costa Vida for the first time and fell in love with their Sweet Pork Salad. Then my sister-in-law told me about Cafe Rio and how good their food is. I came across this recipe from my BBF (Best Blogger Friend-yes it's such a thing, or it is now!) Holly's blog and it's so good! We ate it taco style, but you could do it as a salad as well. The most wonderful part is that it's cooked in a slow cooker. Those recipes always make me happy.Printable VersionIngredients2 lbs chicken … [Read more...]

Cheesy Rice and Chicken Casserole

Cheesy Rice and Chicken Casserole will make mouths happy. Cheese, rice and chicken make for an amazing dish.  Casseroles are my friends. They are usually made up of a bunch of yummy stuff all put together and baked. The ones I love best have cheese. Lots and lots of cheese. This dish does not disappoint. I'm sure it will be on your make again (and again) list. Plus it's one of my most viewed recipes of all time! Cheesy Rice and Chicken Casserole   Print Cook time 30 … [Read more...]

Crispy Onion Chicken

This is one of my favorite ways to eat chicken. The honey mustard gives it a nice flavor and the onions are so good. Crispy Onion Chicken4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts4 Tbsp. honey mustard1 c. crushed French's Fried OnionsCoat the chicken with honey mustard. Roll in the crushed onions. Ravioli and Spinach Alfredo

Ravioli and Spinach Alfredo

I had some ravioli in my refridgerator that needed to be used as well as some spinach in my garden. This recipe is the result. I also added some chicken to give it protein and, well, let's face it...my husband is a meat eater and needed that extra addition. It comes together quickly so that's a plus in my book.Ravioli and Spinach Alfredo (with chicken)1 (18 oz.) package of refrigerated ravioli (I used four cheese)2 packets of Alfredo mixture Spinach1 (14 oz) can of chicken or 2 cups cooked and … [Read more...]

Get Yo’ Man Chicken!

June 14, 2010 by mandyrecipebox

Get Yo’ Man Chicken!

I saw this on an episode of Down Home With the Neeley's and knew I had to make it. It is called "Get Yo' Man Chicken" because when you make this for a man, he will be yours. It is really good. I love it over the rice. It just tastes awesome. You can use white or brown rice or a combo of both, like I do. I can't totally handle the texture of straight brown rice yet, but I'm working on it. Thankfully my husband and kids like the combo, too. It makes for easier cooking.Get Yo' Man Chicken2 … [Read more...]
