Well hello!
How was you weekend? Mine was wonderful. My birthday was on Mother’s Day this year and to celebrate Lance and the kids bought me a glass storm door. I am so excited to have the cool night air come through during the summer. Well, hopefully some nights will have cool air.

The kids also gave me my favorite gifts of all-handmade. Hannah made me a paper bouquet of flowers, Preston made me a necklace with matching earrings at school, and Emma colored some awesome Tangled coloring pages for me, and Isaac only got up to eat once during the night and slept in until 8:30 am! They also made me breakfast. I got spoiled!

Thanksgiving is coming and I can hardly wait!
What are your plans? Going somewhere or hosting at your house?
This year is at my husband’s grandparents’ house, but Lance may not even be there.
He’s been in WY for a week now and may not make it home by Thanksgiving.
Major sadness.
I’m praying he gets to come home.
So enjoy your loved ones and be thankful they are by your side this Thanksgiving. I hope my husband will be at my side.
I still plan on enjoying me some yummy food, that’s for sure!

Yesterday was a busy day. It seems like most days are busy, lately.
Did some laundry.
Sang at a funeral.
Drove an hour to take Preston to the dentist.
Took myself to the dentist.
Got some groceries.
Drove the hour back home and picked up Hannah from my sis-in-law.
Made sure all the homework was done.
Got the kids to bed.
Flopped on the couch with a Diet Coke and The Ellen DeGeneres Show & Pretty Little Liars that I dvr’d.
So you’ll understand why I chose the features that I did.
