Slimfast 14-Day Slimdown

Let’s be honest. Eating healthy and losing weight is HARD. Especially as a mom. Between all things kids (feeding them, bathing them, taking them places, playing with them, hosting sleepovers, getting them to bed etc.), household duties (cleaning, laundry, cooking, cleaning, organizing, fixing things for the kids, finding stuff for the hubby, did I say cleaning?), errands (bank, grocery shopping, kids swim lessons, dance practice, sports, taking kids to friends houses etc.) and whatever else, when is there time for mom? I am not complaining. I love all of this. Well, not cleaning. I’m just saying it’s HARD to do stuff for me. It’s so easy to take care of my kids and husband (mostly), but I tend to grab something quick and convenient when I have a second to eat. And it’s not always the healthiest options. Especially when I’m blogging and editing photos. 

Slimfast has made it easier for me to eat something that’s quick and convenient, but not loaded with fat and calories. Because summer is here which means swimsuit season is here. And wearing shorts and pretty dresses that don’t need extra flab joining the party.

Slimfast® launched a new meal bar flavor in April 2014, Have Your Cake…™ Meal Bar. It has 180 calories per barand it’s made of delicious vanilla cake and frosting and fun sprinkles. Slimfast® Have Your Cake…™ Meal Bars are available in 5-count boxes and sold at Target and other  mass and drug stores nationwide for a around $5.49.

I’ve been drinking their Rich Chocolate Royale shake for years as breakfast. I love it. I’m not one to eat a big breakfast in the morning so this has worked great for me. Slimfast has their 14 Day Slimdown Program that makes is possible to lose up to 6 pounds in 2 weeks. Here’s how it works:
  • Swap two meals daily with a Slimfast® protein shake or meal bar
  • The third meal must be 500 calories
  • Enjoy three 100-calorie snacks or pieces of fruit per day
  • Don’t exceed 1200 calories per day
  • Do 30 minutes of light to medium exercise daily and drink plenty of water
I’m excited to get my slim on! I’m excited to look better in my clothes and have them fit better. I’m not looking to be a skinny minnie, but a healthy and confident woman. And Slimfast is going to help me do that.
