With school starting back up soon, lunch box ideas are always needed. I’m sharing one idea along with a printable image for mixing and matching more ideas.
The first thing to make lunches fun is to get your kids bento boxes. They can be found anywhere but I got mine at Target. They are containers like the one above with little compartments to put food in. It saves on plastic baggies and money. Plus they are just fun! While I was at Target I picked up some Horizon products like cheese and peanut butter crackers.
I know I can trust Horizon to make products that I feel good about feeding to my kids. There are No Antibiotics, No Growth Hormones, No Persistent Pesticides, Non GMO. Just simple ingredients that make it taste good. I love the peanut butter snack crackers. And the cheese sticks. Ok honestly I love everything from Horizon. And I put them together with some cucumbers and PB&J roll ups make from tortillas. And I always add a hand written note or joke to my kids’ lunches. I loved when my mom put a note in my lunches. Seeing her handwriting while I was away from her made me feel better.
Then put it all in a cute lunch bag with a drink and you’re set to go!
Try this handy list I made to help mix things up and let your kids pick their own items for their lunches. It’s fun to have them close their eyes and point to see what they’ll get.
