Mexican Egg Rolls
Mexican Egg Rolls are a fun spin on the classic version. Make a lot because they won't last long! I made Philly Cheese Steak Egg Rolls and they were a hit. So I knew I wanted to try these Mexican Egg Rolls the second I saw the recipe. I may have had 3. They are not spicy at all, but you could add a kick by using jalepenos if you want. Try garnishing them with avocados and sour cream for a fresh taste. Mexican Egg Rolls Print Author: Mandy Bird Ingredients 1 Tbsp. … [Read more...]

Potato harvest is in full swing.I drove the big truck Saturday for about 5 hours and then we were done for the day. It was just a test run to make sure everything was working right. Starting on Monday, we go from 8 am to anywhere from 10 pm to midnight. Oh.so.excited.It's pretty cool to see the whole process from driving along side the harvester machine and getting loaded up in my truck to unloading into the equipment which sends it through into the cellars. I will take pics next week and … [Read more...]

BBQ Pulled Pork
This slow cooker BBQ Pulled Pork is a classic summer staple food. It's one recipe you need to keep on hand! I have been using my slow cooker for dinner many nights to keep the heat out of the kitchen from using the oven. I'm sure many of you are doing the same. It's just hot! But here in Idaho, that changes constantly. One day last week it was scorching and the next I wanted to turn on the heater, but resisted. It kinda gets on my last nerve. I love when it rains, though. It helps our … [Read more...]
Orange Chicken For Dummies
This Orange Chicken is one of the most popular recipes on my blog, and for good reason! A slow cooker meal that is completely delicious is bound to be awesome. Lance works in Wyoming during the cold season. He's home maybe 2 or 3 days and then he's gone about 2 weeks. Or longer. Which stinks. His family is nearby, which helps. Lance's brother and his wife live right behind us and always help out when needed. Like when my bath tub drain lever breaks off. Or my … [Read more...]

Guest Blogger: Edesia’s Notebook
Hello there, friends. I have another guest here today. She's such a cute gal with great recipes, that I couldn't resist asking her to guest blog for me. So here she is...Hi, I'm Lesa, author of Edesia's Notebook. I am a SAHM to two little girls (ages 1 and 3) and the wife of an awesome guy. I love to cook and I get really bored making the same dishes over and over again (no matter how good they are!), so I have become slightly obsessed with trying new recipes. I am constantly scouring magazines, … [Read more...]
