This tropical Pina Colada Smoothie recipe is such a delicious treat. You won’t even realize it’s a healthier treat when enjoying the bliss it brings.
I love smoothies, as you can tell by my collection of them. They are so easy to make and always taste incredible. Depending on what you put in them, it’s a great way to get your veggies and fruits for the day. Plus little ones and picky ones won’t even know what they’re drinking. I always slip in some healthy stuff and my kids slurp it down, no questions asked. They even drink the spinach smoothies. This Pina Colada Smoothie is very simple. The whipped cream on top is optional, but I always do it when I make this smoothie. It’s just a little indulgence I love. A tip: Use frozen fruit when making smoothies. It makes for a slushier smoothie. Keep sliced bananas in a baggie in your freezer to throw in as well.
- 1 cup fresh pineapple chunks, frozen
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 1 banana, optional
- ¼ cup ice cubes
- 2 tsp. honey, optional
- Whipped cream for topping, optional
- Place the pineapple, coconut milk, banana, ice and honey in a blender.
- Blend until smooth.
- Serve with whipped cream if desired.
