Strawberries & Cream Bars
Strawberry season is here. At least in my area. And I am in heaven. I love this time of year. I've already made jam and the jars look so pretty on my shelf. I've also made smoothies and I've just started using chia seeds and kefir in them and I love the healthy benefits they provide. Plus you can't even taste them. My little Emma loves when I make smoothies using strawberries, chia seeds, kefir, ice, greek yogurt and a little sweetener. It's so good and so good for us. I found the chia … [Read more...]

Zyliss Kitchen Gadgets Review
I always have a garden every summer. I always plant lettuce, spinach and beets among other veggies. My husband loves beet greens. That is the green tops just so you know. I put them in a saucepan, cover them with water, and boil until they are wilted. Then Lance tops them with butter, lemon juice and ground pepper. I don't care for the stuff, but I love salads. I have a hard time eating the lettuce out of my garden. Only because I have seen the earwigs that crawl on it and it just creeps me out. … [Read more...]
Potato Rolls
These Potato Rolls are the best rolls that I have ever eaten. For real. If you are looking for that perfect roll recipe, make these Potato Rolls and you'll never look back! Since having Isaac, I haven't cooked a whole lot. It is so hard to do it when baby boy wants to be held all.the.time. Or when he thinks the second he wakes up, it's feeding time. Or when you only have 5 minutes in between feeding Isaac, laundry, showering, breathing, and feeding Isaac. It has been simple meals like … [Read more...]

Mandarin Orange Jello Salad
This Mandarin Orange Jello Salad is a must make recipe. It always disappears faster than you can blink. Make it for your next potluck! This Jello salad is one of my family's favorites. It is a combo of Jello and pudding and has a delicious creamy texture to it. It isn't made with cottage cheese, even though the photos seem to make it look like it is. It's just the Jello that didn't get all the way mixed in since I let it set a little too long before mixing in the Cool Whip. If you make … [Read more...]
