Chocolate Cherry Marshmallow Cake

February 5, 2014 by mandyrecipebox

Chocolate Cherry Marshmallow Cake

My treat of choice is always a baked good. Not a candy bar or ice cream or chips. It must be a cake, cookie, donut or pie. That's just the way it is. I love fancied up cakes, especially. I took a regular chocolate cake mix and added a few extra ingredients to make it more dense and delicious, kinda like the kind you get from a bakery. Then I added marshmallows. Then Lucky Leaf pie filling. The result is this to-die-for Cherry Chocolate Marshmallow Cake. Valentine's Day is coming up so why not … [Read more...]

Copycat Jamba Juice Cranberry Craze

When I was in high school, the thing to do on weekends was to go to Jamba Juice for a smoothie. I loved them all! Razzmatazz was my favorite. Oh the memories. Cranberry Craze is what I'm sharing with you today. The recipe I found used raspberry, strawberry and blueberry sherbets. I used actual strawberries and blueberries in mine, along with the raspberry sherbet. Throw in some ice and cranberry juice and you have yourself a Cranberry Craze.   Ingredients Copycat Jamba Juice … [Read more...]

Skinny Cake with Vanilla Bean Frosting

Skinny Cake with Vanilla Bean Frosting

Skinny Cake with Vanilla Bean Frosting is a lighter version cake with all the flavor and texture of a regular cake. This cake. It's healthified without losing flavor or texture. I used Greek yogurt in place of the oil and egg whites in place of the eggs. The result is a delicious cake that you can eat proudly. What other cake will give you protein? Thanks to the Greek yogurt. And the frosting. Well, it's in its own world. Amazing own world. I first made it with this banana cake and it … [Read more...]

Cookies & Cream Donuts

Cookies & Cream Donuts

Since I received my donut pan for Christmas, I am on a mission to make all kinds of delicious donuts. (Check out this link for the pans.) my first donut recipe was Chocolate Cake Donuts. Perfect recipe to start with. These Cookies and Cream Donuts are just as easy. The donut is a vanilla cake donut that tastes like it came from a bakery. The glaze is so easy and you warm it while you make it which gives it that crackle when you bite into it. Oreos on top finish it off in the perfect … [Read more...]

Greek Salad

January 15, 2014 by mandyrecipebox

Greek Salad

Greek Salad is a refreshing salad with chicken and a wonderful dressing all tossed with fresh vegetables. It makes a wonderful light meal. Are you all on the eating healthy train? I am partially. It's good to eat healthy, but it's good to have treats. It just is. Moderation is the key. We've all heard that. Salads are good as long as you eat them right. I can't handle a salad with just lemon juice on it (it's a thing) or just a splash of vinegar. You gotta have a good dressing. With yummy … [Read more...]
