Banana Bread Donuts with Brown Butter Glaze
These Banana Bread Donuts are perfect for breakfast or dessert. They also work as muffins if you don't have a donut pan. Sweet! These babies are like little round banana bread loaves with holes in them. Cuz that's exactly what they are. And the glaze, you guys. It's made in a saucepan so it sets up quickly and has that crackle like at a bakery. And brown butter. Oh my gosh the brown butter. Amazing. I used vanilla bean paste but you can easily use vanilla extract instead. Just make these … [Read more...]

No-Bake S’more Bars
I am still on a baking in the oven strike. It's too hot. These No-Bake S'mores are the perfect summer treat. Chocolate, marshmallows and graham crackers without the fire. Every summer I feel like it's the hottest summer ever. But this summer really is. High 90's at least every.single.day. I'm dying. I would love to live somewhere milder during the summer. Our winters are pretty miserable, too. So I can live here in Idaho for Spring and Fall, basically. Then, I gotta move. I give up on … [Read more...]
Cinnamon Granola {Slow Cooker Recipe}
This slow cooker Cinnamon Granola recipe is perfect with milk or on top of ice cream or yogurt. You can add nuts or dried fruit during the cooking process if you desire. This Cinnamon Granola is actually named Fruit and Nut Granola but I didn't use any fruit or nuts when making this so I had to change the name, obviously. It comes from Gooseberry Patch's Slow-Cooker Fall Favorites cookbook. I know it's still summer, but there's 2 reasons I am posting this recipe: 1. It's granola. … [Read more...]
