Hey friends, it’s Kelly back again from Life Made Sweeter.  I know everyone is busy gearing up for the big holiday dinner tomorrow so I’m here to give you an easy and delicious last minute dessert idea!

Chocolate Pecan Pie Skillet Cookie from @LifeMadeSweeter

Pecan pie is a favorite around this time of year but if you’re short on time, how about making it into a cookie pie?  It still satisfies that pecan pie craving but without the hassle of making or rolling out the pie dough. Plus, this is one dessert both kids and adults will be fighting over for a second piece!

Chocolate Pecan Pie Skillet Cookie @LifeMadeSweeter

Just layer your favorite  cookie dough (homemade or store-bought) out onto a cast iron skillet or a round baking pan, top with chocolate chips and the pecan caramel filling and bake away!  Serve with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream and you’ve got a dessert that everyone will be talking about all year long!

Hope you all have  a Happy Thanksgiving tomorrow everyone!

I can’t find the oatmeal listed anywhere, either. The oatmeal cookie crust sounded good.
