This is a featured post. All thoughts are my own.Bacon is delicious. That's a know fact. You can Google recipes using bacon and find tons of them. It's just so good. I love saving my bacon grease in a mug and storing it in the fridge until I make Biscuits and Gravy. Then I add a tablespoon or so to the gravy to give it that bacon flavor. Or you can put some in a skillet and fry your eggs in it. Not the healthiest way to cook eggs, but I love it on occasion. Check out this awesome graphic from … [Read more...]

Summertime with Kraft Drinks
This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Dollar General for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine. Summer is still here, people. It's cooling down at nights somewhat, but it's still here. My kids have had fun this summer with swimming lessons, riding bikes, and jumping on the trampoline. They try to outdo each other with their stunts. It's pretty funny to watch. After all that, they work up a sweat and a thirst. Well I know that Dollar General will have what we need … [Read more...]
Arby’s Grand Turkey Club Sandwich
This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Arby's for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine. I can tell you right now that Arby's is one of my favorite fast food restaurants. I always order the Beef 'N Cheddar with Curly Fries. Alway. It's just what I love. I top it off with a little Horsey Sauce and I am happy. When I used to work at a bank, there was an Arby's right next door. Guess where I had lunch at least once a week? Yep. My husband is a Beef 'N Cheddar kinda guy and that … [Read more...]
Totally Tasty Tuesdays
School is back in full swing and my kids are loving it. Emma can't get enough of Kindergarten and I tried to tell her that she is done, only 1 week is required and now she can stay home with me. She didn't fall for it. Hannah is having a blast at middle school. Good for her. I hope she continues to love it and gets to skip the drama. You think she'll be that lucky? Preston is ho-hum about school. He would rather be farming with his dad. Have your kids gone back yet? Here is this week's most … [Read more...]
Totally Tasty Tuesdays
My kids went back to school this week. Including my little Emma who went to Kindergarten. It's a big deal for me. Huge. Because since it's so rural where we live, the Kindergartners go all day. Our school district goes Mon-Thurs and have Fridays off, which is nice. So Hannah gets on the bus at 7 am and doesn't get home until 4:15 and then Preston and Emma get on at 7:30 and get home at 4. Long days for our kids. Emma was so ready to go to school. She didn't even get nervous as I left. … [Read more...]
Easy Dinner with Manwich and giveaway
This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Manwich. All opinions are 100% mine.Growing up, if we had Sloppy Joes it was with Manwich. That is what I used when I first got married, too. It was familiar and so easy. Just a pound of ground beef, a can of Manwich and some buns and you were done! I loved it. They now have 3 flavors: Original, Bold, and Thick & Chunky. There are lots of other ways to use Manwich than for Sloppy Joes. You can find Manwich Recipes on the backs of the … [Read more...]
Totally Tasty Tuesdays
This is our last week of summer vacation. My kids go back to school next Monday. I am having torn emotions. On one hand, my kids are so ready to get back in school. They are all set with clothes and supplies and can't wait to get back to their friends. Plus, it will just be Isaac and me at home which means tons of free time for me because he takes 3 naps and is so good when he's awake. I am looking forward to that. On the down side, my lil Emma goes to Kindergarten. I am sad about … [Read more...]
