Strawberry season is here. At least in my area. And I am in heaven. I love this time of year. I've already made jam and the jars look so pretty on my shelf. I've also made smoothies and I've just started using chia seeds and kefir in them and I love the healthy benefits they provide. Plus you can't even taste them. My little Emma loves when I make smoothies using strawberries, chia seeds, kefir, ice, greek yogurt and a little sweetener. It's so good and so good for us. I found the chia … [Read more...]
Strawberry Pizza
I am super excited for today's post. It is an amazing summer treat. It also looks like pepperoni pizza. But, it's not. It's Strawberry Pizza! The slices of strawberries look like pepperoni, the pie filling looks like pizza sauce, and the white chocolate looks like mozzerella cheese. It is part of a blog hop called Foodie Fake Out. Stephanie from Back For Seconds asked if I wanted to join in and create a recipe that looks like one thing, but tastes like another. Fun, right? So at the end, be … [Read more...]

Strawberry Freezer Jam
Homemade jam is the only jam I can eat. Because once I tasted it, there was no turning back to store bought jam. Ever. Especially when this is so easy to make. Strawberries were on sale for $6 a flat. A flat! So I bought some and made strawberry pancakes, strawberry julius, and strawberry shortcake. And this jam. Three ingredients are all you need for the homemade goodness that is this jam. Anyone can make it. So what are you waiting for? Strawberry Freezer … [Read more...]
