Copycat Little Caesar’s Breadsticks

These Copycat Little Caesar's Breadsticks recipe taste just like the real thing. They have the same texture and flavor and will be gone in no time. I love Copycat recipes. You must know that since I have them on my blog kind of a lot. Like Copycat Chick-fil-a Nuggets, Copycat KFC Coleslaw or Copycat Almond Roca. I love that you can save money by making the same thing at home. Or if you are like me and the nearest restaurant is at least 60 miles away and you want to eat a certain menu … [Read more...]

 No Bake Chewy Granola Bars are a quick and easy recipe that is perfect for breakfast on the go or snack. You can customize them to your liking. So I have kinda let my snacky side take over during this pregnancy. And not the most healthy kind of snacking. We're talking my favorite candy bars and my favorite ice cream. But these no bake chewy granola bars are something I don't feel guilty about snacking on. They are chewy are you can make them any way you like. Add nuts or dried … [Read more...]

Cinnamon Broken Glass Candy

December 15, 2012 by mandyrecipebox

Cinnamon Broken Glass Candy

This Cinnamon Broken Glass Candy is such a classic candy. Everyone will love it and it's sure to bring back memories! I have a thing for food resembling broken glass. Like Broken Glass Jello. It's pretty and fun and doesn't have to be perfect. This candy is oh-so-easy to make. I can't wait to try other flavors. My kids thought this candy was too hot so next time I will use less cinnamon oil. But they are excited to try different flavors like root beer and cherry and whatever else we … [Read more...]

You have heard of Smart Balance products, right? Well I was invited to participate in their recipe challenge that is going on now. I knew they made butter, but did you know they make other stuff too? Like peanut butter? Once I learned that, I knew what ingredient I would be using in my recipe. If you love Peanut Butter Cookies, you will love this bread. It has the same taste with a quick bread texture. Amazing. Peanut Butter Bread   Print Prep time 10 mins Cook time 50 … [Read more...]

White Chocolate Fruit Dip {and Pie Filling}

June 2, 2012 by mandyrecipebox

White Chocolate Fruit Dip {and Pie Filling}

No one can resist this White Chocolate Fruit Dip. It doubles as a pie filling, too! This is one of my favorite snacks. Emma loves it, too. Then when the apples are gone, she grabs a spoon to finish off the dip. Cuz it's basically pudding. Yum. The buttermilk gives it an extra zing of flavor. If you don't have buttermilk, you could make your own {Put 1 Tbsp. lemon juice in a 1 c. measuring cup and add milk to make 1 cup.}or use regular milk. But you're gonna want to use buttermilk if you can. … [Read more...]

Fluffy Pear Jello & Recipe Round-Up

Fluffy Pear Jello & Recipe Round-Up

Jello is alright on it's own, but anytime I make it I jazz it up. I will sometimes just make it according to the package directions and pour it into little Tupperware containers for the kids as an after school snack. Even then I usually put some fruit in it like mandarin oranges or fruit cocktail. With whipped cream on top. See? That's not even basic Jello. I just can't do it. Today I have a favorite Jello recipe that I got from my sister-in-law, Heather. She has some great recipes and I'm … [Read more...]

Copycat Almond Roca

Copycat Almond Roca

Copycat Almond Roca tastes just like the real thing. It's a great treat to make for the goody table at Christmas. I have never made much candy come the holidays. I make baked goods, but not a lot of candy. I have made peanut brittle and peanut clusters and caramel, but that's about it. I wanted to find a recipe for toffee of some sort. So I did a search and came up with this Almond Roca recipe. Oh. goodness. It tastes just like the real thing that you buy in the canister. It was so easy as … [Read more...]

Vanilla Pudding Cinnamon Rolls

October 29, 2011 by mandyrecipebox

Vanilla Pudding Cinnamon Rolls

Cinnamon Rolls are just such a luscious treat. They are so versatile, too. Eat them for a dessert, an afternoon snack, or breakfast. There are many recipes for cinnamon rolls. I found this recipe from Mel's Kitchen Cafe. She also has a recipe for Cream Cheese Frosting, but I don't like cream cheese frosting. At. All. Not on any cake or any other dessert. Never have. So I used the tub of Betty Crocker Vanilla frosting. Perfect for me. Rolls:½ cup warm water2 tablespoons active dry yeast2 … [Read more...]

Favorite Chocolate Chip Cookies

October 1, 2011 by mandyrecipebox

Favorite Chocolate Chip Cookies

These are my Favorite Chocolate Chip Cookies. I have searched high and low for the perfect recipe and found it at a friend's house. Lightly crisp on the outside and chewy in the center. I love chocolate chip cookies. They are the original cookie. They are the original after-school snack. They are also kinda hard to accomplish in the perfect way. What is up with that? It isn't like it is a complicated recipe. They just are tricky to get to turn out just right. I've been trying for over 11 … [Read more...]
