Copycat Jamba Juice Cranberry Craze
When I was in high school, the thing to do on weekends was to go to Jamba Juice for a smoothie. I loved them all! Razzmatazz was my favorite. Oh the memories. Cranberry Craze is what I'm sharing with you today. The recipe I found used raspberry, strawberry and blueberry sherbets. I used actual strawberries and blueberries in mine, along with the raspberry sherbet. Throw in some ice and cranberry juice and you have yourself a Cranberry Craze. Peanut Butter Cup Smoothie
If you haven't noticed, I like Smoothies. From this Tropical Smoothie to this Pina Colada, Smoothies are a great way to get some fruits and veggies into you. Plus it's fun to trick your kids. Be honest. It is. They don't realize they are drinking something that's good for them. All they know is that it tastes amazing! This smoothie doesn't actually have peanut butter cups in it, but it sure tastes good anyway. You can use Greek yogurt like I did or you can use regular yogurt. I love Greek, it … [Read more...]
Banana Cream Pie Smoothie
This Banana Cream Pie Smoothie tricks your taste buds into thinking they are getting a treat. But really, it's a healthy smoothie. I know it may not look like it from the recipes I post, but I really am trying to eat healthier. I absolutely believe in the saying, "All things in moderation". Well, except when it comes to drugs or alcohol (I don't … [Read more...]
Pina Colada Green Smoothie
Summer weather is pretty much in full swing around here. Which means it's hot. HOT. Like high 80's in May. Not okay. I hate when it's too hot to eat. Weird for me I know, but it happens. But this smoothie is so good and refreshing that you will want to drink it for every meal. It does not taste like spinach, at all. I have a thing for Pina Colada drinks, non-alcoholic for me. I love the combo of pineapple and coconut so much that when we go to Vegas or Wendover, NV I sit at a machine to play … [Read more...]
Monster Green Smoothie
I'm sure by now that many of you have heard of green smoothies. Made with spinach or other greens and fruit that are so healthy (so much so, in fact, that I'm not sure why it's appearing on my blog!) and full of fiber and iron and protein if you use peanut butter. Here's a site to read up on the Green Monster Movement. There's also lots more recipes for variations on the green smoothie. To me it looks like a green monster got blended up. So I just can't look at it while I drink it. It's in my … [Read more...]
