Pumpkin Pudding Cookies

Pumpkin Pudding Cookies

Are you ready for Fall baking? The mornings and nights are nice and cool, but the day is still pretty warm. 80's at least. I don't care. I am doing my fall stuff. I put up my fall decorations, made soups for dinners, put out my fall scented soaps and candles and now I am baking with pumpkin. The weather ain't gonna tell me what to do. It's fall up in here. Back when I was horrible at taking food photos, I made some Chocolate Pudding Cookies. They are delicious. Don't judge them by their photos, … [Read more...]

Oatmeal Apple Bites

Now that school is back in session, I feel the need to make great snacks that my kids will love when they walk in the door. I love hearing about their day and what better way than over cookies and milk? These Oatmeal Apple Bites are healthy, too, so I don't feel bad letting my kids have another one. They are so good with the bits of apples baked into them. My son especially can't get enough of these. Oatmeal Apple Bites   Print Prep time 15 mins Cook time 11 mins … [Read more...]

Ice Cream Dream Cake

Ice Cream Dream Cake

We are so glad to be back with our friends at Mandy's Recipe box. I have a recipe that is perfect for a nice summer meal, but won't take much time in the kitchen. A little advanced prep and you will be ready to go! I like cheesey movies. Formulaic, cliche and predictable. One of my favorite scenes in thousands of cheesey movies is the girl who is a bit of a tomboy who gets dressed up for the dance. When she enters the room transformed, the boys turn and stare. They say, "Mary, is that … [Read more...]

Mint Chocolate No Bake Cookies

Mint Chocolate No Bake Cookies

These Mint Chocolate No Bake Cookies are a delicious minty version of the original no bake cookie.  By now I bet you've heard of Duncan Hines' Frosting Creations, right? You take a can of plain frosting and add in a packet of Frosting Creations and mix together to create whatever flavor you want. And there are tons to choose from. Like Pink Lemonade, Chocolate Marshmallow, and Mint Chocolate. The mint chocolate is what I used in these cookies to give them the yummy flavoring. I used one … [Read more...]

Chocolate Chip Waffle Cookies

Chocolate Chip Waffle Cookies

Chocolate Chip Waffle Cookies are a fun way to make a delicious treat. Everything you love about a chocolate chip cookie is the fun waffle shape. So everyone staying cool? Everyone perfectly comfortable? If you said yes, I am glaring at you. Lucky duck. It has started cooling off a little at night, but the days are miserable. So if I don't have to use my oven, I don't. And these cookies are not made in the oven. Guess where they are made? Ding, ding, ding! In a waffle iron. How did … [Read more...]

Marshmallow Peanut Bars

Marshmallow Peanut Bars

Marshmallow Peanut Bars have a fluffy marshmallow center with caramel and peanuts all around it. Completely easy and completely addicting!   Just as a warning...share these Marshmallow Peanut Bars. Otherwise, you will end up eating the majority of them by yourself. They were featured on a Totally Tasty Tuesday by Memories By the Mile and I knew I had to try them. She calls them Salted Nut Roll after the candy bar. The original bar has a cream instead of marshmallow, but these are just as … [Read more...]

Fluffiest Cupcakes

Fluffiest Cupcakes

I found this recipe on Tidy Mom and had to try it. To me it just made a boxed cake mix very light and fluffy. Too light for me. I actually prefer the regular box version. These were delicious but so light that I felt like I had to eat more to even know I had any. I will just stick to the directions on the box next time, but it's fun to try new ideas. See what you think. Printable VersionIngredients1 box cake mix, any flavor3 large eggs1/2 C. butter, melted1 C. waterDirectionsPreheat the oven to … [Read more...]

Copycat Cosmic Brownies

Copycat Cosmic Brownies

Copycat Cosmic Brownies taste pretty darn close to the original treat. Little Debbie fans everywhere will be happy to know they can make these brownies in their own kitchen. My kids love Little Debbie Cosmic Brownies. The ones with the little colorful candies on top. They always request them when we go grocery shopping. These copycat brownies are pretty spot on. I used Ghiradelli Natural Unsweetened cocoa powder. They had a darker chocolate flavor which was delicious, but next time I will try … [Read more...]

Softest Cinnamon Rolls

July 3, 2013 by mandyrecipebox

Softest Cinnamon Rolls

The story behind these Softest Cinnamon Rolls is this: I have been in search of the perfect cinnamon roll recipe since I've been married. It took me a long time to even attempt making them. Whenever I made any recipe I tried, they came out firm and tasting like they were stale, even fresh from the oven. I sort of gave up. Then I found this recipe for Potato Rolls and knew the second I bit into one that this was going to change things. Big time! And it did. I found the perfect cinnamon roll base, … [Read more...]

Copycat Taco Maker Crustos

Growing up, we ate at Taco Maker quite a bit. I always ordered one soft burrito and one crispy burrito. And  some Crustos. Those babies were and are my favorite thing on the menu. And guess what? I have a delicious copycat recipe for you. These taste just like them and I am in huge trouble. I can't stop making them and eating them. I hope you like them and I dare you to eat just 3 pieces.
