Cinnamon Granola {Slow Cooker Recipe}

July 31, 2014 by mandyrecipebox

Cinnamon Granola {Slow Cooker Recipe}

This slow cooker Cinnamon Granola recipe is perfect with milk or on top of ice cream or yogurt. You can add nuts or dried fruit during the cooking process if you desire. This Cinnamon Granola is actually named Fruit and Nut Granola but I didn't use any fruit or nuts when making this so I had to change the name, obviously. It comes from Gooseberry Patch's Slow-Cooker Fall Favorites cookbook. I know it's still summer, but there's 2 reasons I am posting this recipe: 1. It's granola. … [Read more...]

No-Rise Whole Wheat Bread

If you love homemade bread, but not the "work", this recipe for No-Rise Whole Wheat Bread is for you. And if you like making regular yeast bread, you should still give this recipe a try. It's got a crusty top that cracks as it bakes, which I love. It looks so rustic and pretty. It comes from Gooseberry Patch's Good-For-You Everyday Meals Cookbook. And I have a copy to giveaway so stick around after the recipe! This bread is really good!  It is great for when you want homemade bread with … [Read more...]

Copycat Jamba Juice Cranberry Craze

When I was in high school, the thing to do on weekends was to go to Jamba Juice for a smoothie. I loved them all! Razzmatazz was my favorite. Oh the memories. Cranberry Craze is what I'm sharing with you today. The recipe I found used raspberry, strawberry and blueberry sherbets. I used actual strawberries and blueberries in mine, along with the raspberry sherbet. Throw in some ice and cranberry juice and you have yourself a Cranberry Craze.   Ingredients Copycat Jamba Juice … [Read more...]

Browned Butter Banana Muffins

Browned Butter Banana Muffins

Browned Butter Banana Muffins have such and incredible flavor thanks to the browned butter. You will want to make these again and again.  Remember my new love for browned butter? I used it for the first time in these Browned Butter Blondies and immediately fell in love. I decided to try it in banana muffins this time around and I still love the stuff! I could eat the brown bits with a spoon. For real. There is just a subtle flavor of the browned butter in these muffins. But it gives the … [Read more...]

Mini Monkey Bread with Chocolate Chips & Marshmallow Bits

Disclosure: This post was sponsored by  I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter® through their partnership with POPSUGAR. While I was compensated to write a post about I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter® Deliciously Simple™, all opinions are my own.   So how are you all doing with those "I'm going to eat heathier this year" goals? I am doing better at cutting out the unnecessary snacking on treats (although sometimes it is very necessary!) and eating more salads and veggies. But I still love my desserts. … [Read more...]

Eggnog Streusel Muffins

Baking with Eggnog is my favorite seasonal thing to do. I really don't care to drink it, but let me throw it in anything I can and I will. These Eggnog Streusel Muffins are a great Christmas breakfast. Add the oranges from your stockings and some Hot Cocoa and breakfast is served. I used Eggland's Best eggs in these muffins. They are full of good stuff. Like: Eggland’s Best eggs are higher in vitamins & nutrients, and lower in saturated fat compared to ordinary eggs. Compared to … [Read more...]

Favorite Waffles

Favorite Waffles

These are my Favorite Waffles. Super basic and delicious. Add anything you want to make them yours! I love simple basic recipes. Those are often the best tasting kind. Nothing fancy or frilly. Just good. Besides, when you have a basic recipe that you love, you can easily change it up to different things. Add chocolate chips here, add peanut butter there. You know. These Favorite Waffles are called that because they are my favorite waffles. Bam. The addition of the cornstarch makes these nice … [Read more...]
