When I was in high school, the thing to do on weekends was to go to Jamba Juice for a smoothie. I loved them all! Razzmatazz was my favorite. Oh the memories. Cranberry Craze is what I'm sharing with you today. The recipe I found used raspberry, strawberry and blueberry sherbets. I used actual strawberries and blueberries in mine, along with the raspberry sherbet. Throw in some ice and cranberry juice and you have yourself a Cranberry Craze. Ingredients Copycat Jamba Juice … [Read more...]

Peanut Butter Cup Smoothie
If you haven't noticed, I like Smoothies. From this Tropical Smoothie to this Pina Colada, Smoothies are a great way to get some fruits and veggies into you. Plus it's fun to trick your kids. Be honest. It is. They don't realize they are drinking something that's good for them. All they know is that it tastes amazing! This smoothie doesn't actually have peanut butter cups in it, but it sure tastes good anyway. You can use Greek yogurt like I did or you can use regular yogurt. I love Greek, it … [Read more...]
Banana Cream Pie Smoothie
This Banana Cream Pie Smoothie tricks your taste buds into thinking they are getting a treat. But really, it's a healthy smoothie. You could make this into a milkshake if you wanted by using vanilla ice cream instead of the yogurt, but I never said that. Nope. I did not. I know it may not look like it from the recipes I post, but I really am trying to eat healthier. I absolutely believe in the saying, "All things in moderation". Well, except when it comes to drugs or alcohol (I don't … [Read more...]
Strawberry Lemonade Slush
Summertime means slushes. Like we want them in the winter. Unless you live somewhere warm when it's winter. Strawberry Lemonade is a favorite of mine. Combine into a slush and it's perfection. Add a cute straw and it's even funner. Recipe Source: BHG cookbook Strawberry Lemonade Slush Print Author: Mandy Bird Ingredients Lemonade Base: 2½ C. water 1¼ C. sugar ½ tsp. lemon zest 1¼ C. lemon juice Slush: ½ C. fresh or frozen … [Read more...]
Pina Colada Green Smoothie
Summer weather is pretty much in full swing around here. Which means it's hot. HOT. Like high 80's in May. Not okay. I hate when it's too hot to eat. Weird for me I know, but it happens. But this smoothie is so good and refreshing that you will want to drink it for every meal. It does not taste like spinach, at all. I have a thing for Pina Colada drinks, non-alcoholic for me. I love the combo of pineapple and coconut so much that when we go to Vegas or Wendover, NV I sit at a machine to play … [Read more...]

I hope you are enjoying all the holiday recipes floating around the internet as much as I am. I love the food this time of year! It's just so cozy and wonderful. I have recipes on my blog using Eggnog. I love baking with the stuff. But I am not a huge fan of drinking it straight. Today I made my own Eggless Eggnog. I like it! I can drink it! Homemade Slurpees
Nothing will make a child happier than these Homemade Slurpees. You can make them in practically any flavor! I love Slurpees from 7-11. Love them like a love song. But the nearest one is umm...over 80 miles away. So when I came across this recipe, I had to try it. It doesn't make me think, "Hey this tastes just like a real Slurpee!" But it is a tasty drink that my kids loved. The best part is that you can make it into any flavor you like {as long as Kool-Aid makes that flavor}. Summer is … [Read more...]
