Simple Lunchbox Ideas

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Horizon and Santa Cruz. The opinions and text are all mine. With school starting back up soon, lunch box ideas are always needed. I'm sharing one idea along with a printable image for mixing and matching more ideas. The first thing to make lunches fun is to get your kids bento boxes. They can be found anywhere but I got mine at Target. They are containers like the one above with little compartments to put food in. It saves on … [Read more...]

Lunch Box Ideas

Think beyond PB&Js with these easy lunch box ideas! Lunches don't have to be boring... It's basically a known fact that if you put food into fun containers or on skewers or toothpicks that it's funner to eat. And tastes better. You know I'm right. At least the kids know I'm right. Ask any of them. Seeing food on a stick immediately tells our brain that it's better than without a stick. I stopped at my local Kroger store Smith's to pick up some Horizon products for lunches. Look how fun... … [Read more...]

Chocolate Chip Hush Puppies

Jazz up hushpuppies with some chocolate chips - and bake them so they are slightly healthier! Eva from Eva Bakes back again with a baked hushpuppy that is healthier and less greasy than the traditional fried versions! My 7-year old has been eating out with us on a pretty regular basis. My husband and I go out once a week and have been taking her since she was born. Cosmic Cupcakes

Ad-This is a sponsored conversation written by be on behalf of Pillsbury™. The opinions and text are all mine. Galaxy-themed treats are hotter than the surface of the sun which is why we celebrated Space Exploration Day on July 20 with these Cosmic Cupcakes! Kids are so intrigued and excited by basically everything. From little things to big things they just want to know about it all.  Like how many stars are in the galaxy or if anyone lives on Mars. They are full of questions and I love … [Read more...]

Oatmeal Cookies

Oatmeal Cookies

Christina Tosi's oatmeal cookies are wonderful for those who don't like raisins in their baked goods. These raisin-less cookies are soft and chewy like a classic oatmeal raisin cookie and are dusted with a generous layer of powdered sugar! Riddle me this - why do most oatmeal cookies have raisins in them? Don't get me wrong, I love oatmeal raisins, and they are one of my favorite cookies, but I started to wonder why we don't see many raisin-less cookies. Well, Eva from Eva Bakes here again to … [Read more...]
