Oreo Pudding Cookies

June 21, 2011 by mandyrecipebox

Oreo Pudding Cookies are made up of Oreo Cookies ‘N Creme Pudding, Hershey’s Cookies ‘n Cream bar, and chocolate chips. Heavenly goodness. Just ask The Girl Who Ate Everything. Pretty much one of my favorite cookies, right here. Jello makes this great pudding that is tasty as itself, but stick it in some cookies and you can’t have just one.

Serves: 24
Ingredients
  • 1 cup butter, room temperature
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup white sugar
  • 1 (4.2 ounce) package instant Oreo Pudding mix
  • 2¼ cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 Hershey’s Cookies ‘N Cream Candy Bars chopped into small pieces (I used a 2.6 ounce King Sized bar)
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl and set aside.
  3. Cream together butter and sugars.
  4. Beat in pudding mix until blended.
  5. Add the eggs and vanilla and mix well.
  6. Add the flour mixture and mix to combine.
  7. Stir in cookies n' cream pieces and chocolate chips.
  8. Batter will be thick.
  9. Using a cookie dough scooper, place golf ball sized dough balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  10. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes. You do not want to overbake these!
  11. Let cookies cool for 5 minutes on baking sheet before moving to a cooking rack.
  12. Store in air-tight container. Makes two dozen.
