Ingredients
  • 1 pkg Johnsonville Naturals White Cheddar Smoked Sausage, sliced
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 (16 oz) pkg frozen broccoli, thawed
  • 1 yellow squash, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup tomato sauce
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
Directions
  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium high heat.
  2. Add the garlic and sausage slices. Cook until browned.
  3. Add the peppers, broccoli, squash, broth and tomato sauce. Simmer until the veggies are tender and the liquid is mostly soaked in.
  4. Meanwhile, prepare the rice according to package directions. Stir into the sausage mixture.
  5. Sprinkle with cheese and serve.
