Mushroom Sausage Burger

Ingredients
  • 6 Johnsonville Grillers (I used Steakhouse Onion flavor)
  • 6 hamburger buns
  • 8 oz pkg mushrooms
  • 3 Tbsp butter
  • 3 Tbsp minced shallots
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 2 tsp fresh rosemary minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
Directions
  1. Cook Grillers on the grill or in a skillet according to package directions.
  2. Meanwhile, heat the butter in a large skillet over medium high heat.
  3. Add the mushrooms and shallots and cook 5 minutes.
  4. Add the rosemary and garlic and saute for another minute.
  5. Add beef broth, stirring and scraping the bottom of the skillet to get the bits stirred in. Reduce heat and let simmer until broth thickens slightly.
  6. Place cheese on sausage patties and let melt before placing on hamburger buns. Top with mushrooms and some sauce.
  7. Serve immediately.
