Peanut Butter Brownies

- Brownie Ingredients:
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- ½ cup butter, softened
- 2 cups brown sugar, packed
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ½ tsp. salt
- Peanut Butter Frosting:
- 2 cups creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- ⅛ tsp. salt
- 3 to 4 Tbsp. heavy cream or milk
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- In a large bowl or the bowl of your stand mixer, mix together the peanut butter and butter.
- Add in the brown sugar, eggs and vanilla; mix until light and fluffy, about a minute or two.
- Add in the flour and salt; mix well.
- Pour the batter into a 9x13 pan that's been greased or lined with foil. Spread out evenly.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
- Cool in pan; frost with Peanut Butter Frosting.
- Peanut Butter Frosting:
- Beat peanut butter and butter together until light and fluffy, about one or two minutes.
- Add the remaining ingredients and mix until smooth.
- Frost brownies.
This frosting would be great on cupcakes or other cakes as well.
