  • 1½ lbs beef top sirloin steak
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 medium green pepper, sliced (I left this out)
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) beef broth
  • ¼ C. Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ tsp. dill weed
  • ¼ tsp. dried thyme
  • ¼ tsp. ground black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp. water
Directions
  1. Place onions and green peppers in the bottom of a slow cooker.
  2. Top with beef.
  3. Combine the broth, Worcestershire, dill, thyme, and black pepper; pour over the beef.
  4. Cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours or low 5-6 or until meat reaches desired doneness and veggies are crisp-tender.
  5. Remove beef and keep warm.
  6. Combine the cornstarch and water until smooth; gradually stir into cooking juices.
  7. Cover and cook about 30 minutes longer or until slightly thickened.
  8. Slice the beef and return the beef to the slow cooker; heat through.
  9. Serve with mashed potatoes and gravy.
