Chocolate Lover’s Cake Mix Cookies

February 11, 2015 by mandyrecipebox

Hello everyone!  It’s Renee from Renee’s Kitchen Adventures and  I’m back again to share a yummy Valentine’s Day inspired treat with you this month! Treat your sweetheart to something chocolaty and delicious this year with these Chocolate Lover’s Cake Mix Cookies! These easy chocolate cookies start with a chocolate cake mix and are full of white, milk and semisweet chocolate chips for BIG chocolate flavor.

I’m a big fan of cake mix cookies. My love affair with them first started when I made these Red Velvet Crinkles a couple of years ago.   I love them because they are just so easy whip up without much work.  No mixer or softening butter needed here.  Done from start to finish in almost no time. The perfect recipe for the novice baker or even the experienced baker who wants a cookie with less work.

These super chocolate-y treasures have become a new favorite of mine and I hope that they will become a favorite of yours too.  Bake up a batch for someone you love today!  They will love you back for it…just make sure you set a few aside for yourself!

haha…luckily they don’t make a tremendous amount of cookies so you can bake up a batch for yourself and not feel too guilty about enjoying them!

I love cookies made with cake mixes. Back in the 70’s one of my friends made cake mix cookies with cool whip. They were out of this world. I had never heard of them before. She got the recipe from her mom.Made the red velvet cookies this week and took them to some shut in’s from our church.
